Notes
I wrote My voice is in my hands for, and with, Anna voor de Wind. It is a piece inspired by Emily Dickinson’s Envelope Poems. Short poems on recycled envelopes, written during her late, most radical period. These envelopes are addressed to no one and to everyone at the same time. They remind us of our transience, vulnerability and hope. 
These poems are put in a subtle theatrical space where breath, voice, sound, sign language and gestures coexist in a polyphony permeated by tension.
